Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Support Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to -

Clinical Support Functions

• Support lead clinical staff and provider in delivering patient care by preparing patients for examination and assisting throughout the visit.
• Assist with in-office procedures, including room setup, equipment preparation, and maintaining a smooth and efficient workflow under the direction of the lead.
• Perform X-rays in accordance with established protocols, ensuring patient safety and proper documentation.
• Prepare treatment areas and materials for procedures, ensuring readiness and organization.
• Provide patients with clear aftercare instructions as directed by the provider or lead clinical staff.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain instruments and procedural tools in compliance with infection control standards.
• Collect and process laboratory specimens (e.g., culture swabs, toenail samples) following established protocols.
• Assist patients with comfort measures, including footwear assistance and positioning as needed.
• Support diabetic shoe fittings under the guidance of the lead clinical staff and provider.

Patient Intake & Communication Support

• Assist with intake processes by entering new patient paperwork and online forms accurately into the system.
• Support communication workflows by returning voicemails, answering phones, and routing messages appropriately.
• Provide language support for Spanish-speaking patients to facilitate clear communication with the care team.

Administrative & Documentation Support

• Scan, upload, and organize patient documentation within the electronic medical record system.
• Assist with maintaining provider schedules by inputting or updating appointment information as directed.

Clinic Operations & Support

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and clinical areas to support a safe and efficient environment.
• Restock supplies and notify lead staff of low inventory to ensure continuity of care.
• Organize clinical spaces, including drawers and supply areas, to support workflow efficiency.
• Prepare clinical materials and supplies, including assembling Matrix kits and related items.
• Assist with orthotic insert modifications under provider or lead direction.
• Support specialty services (e.g., shockwave treatments) as directed.

Team Support

• Work collaboratively with lead clinical staff and team members to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
• Follow direction from lead staff while maintaining flexibility to assist with additional clinical or operational tasks as needed.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
