Full-time (190 day) Teacher position to start August 2026, at the Linn County Juvenile Detention Center classroom, located at 800 Walford Rd. SW Cedar Rapids.
Serves primarily secondary students in a variety of off-campus settings including shelter, detention, prison and others. Provides instructional and behavioral programming designed to meet each student's unique educational needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education.
- Iowa license with Instructional Strategist I, or Strategist II endorsement.
- One year of classroom experience including supervision of students, implementation of instructional and behavioral planning, evaluation of student progress, and working with students with behavior challenges.
