Middle School Social Worker or Counselor
Requirements:
- Must have appropriate endorsements.
Major job duties:
· Student support and case management
· Liaison between families and school for collaborating processes in the educational setting.
· Analyze appropriate assessment results with staff and students.
· Connecting, communicating, and monitoring students/ families with appropriate outside support agencies
· Providing/connecting parents with parenting and educational services
· Providing/connecting students with appropriate support services
· Facilitating student intervention meetings/process in conjunction with building administrator
· Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
· Maintains required records.
· Completes student risk assessments.
· Other duties as appropriate or as assigned.
· Experience with Student Intervention Teams and 504 plans
