Position Summary
The Group Home Support Worker provides direct support to youth in a residential setting, ensuring safety, structure, and consistency while reinforcing independent living skills and supporting progress toward service plan goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Job Responsibilities
- Providing support and ensuring the safety and well-being of youth
- Supporting daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and household tasks
- Reinforcing life skills through prompting and guidance
- Monitoring behavior and providing redirection as needed
- Assisting with transportation to school, work, and appointments
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and structured environment
- Documenting and reporting activities, behaviors, and incidents per MDHHS requirements
- Communicating with the Life Skills Coach and treatment team
- Supporting implementation of service plans
- Modeling appropriate behavior and boundaries

The State requires the home to be staffed a minimum of 16 hours per day which includes during sleeping hours; therefore, some of the hours for this position are non-business hours, such as 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or holidays.
Our main need currently is 3rd shift.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
