Who We Are
Grant Hill Construction does residential remodeling done right — kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-home projects across the Portland metro. We're a small, growing team that takes craftsmanship seriously and treats every client's home with real care. We're looking for someone who wants to learn the trade and treat people the right way.
The Role
This is an entry-level, hands-on position working alongside our Lead Carpenter on active remodel job sites. You'll carry, cut, prep, and assist — and if you show up with the right attitude, you'll learn fast. We'll teach you the craft. You bring the work ethic.

We'd rather train someone with the right attitude than manage someone with bad habits.
What You'll Do Day-to-Day
- Assist the Lead Carpenter on kitchen, bath, and whole-home remodel projects
- Demo, prep, and rough carpentry work
- Material handling, site cleanup
- Learn finish carpentry, trim work, door and window installation
- Represent GHC professionally around clients and subcontractors
What You'll Bring
- Basic hand and power tool familiarity (preferred, not required)
- Reliable transportation to job sites around the Portland metro
- A willingness to do the unglamorous work without complaint

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
