What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Driver / Light Equipment Operator position at Grant County?
The successful applicant will be responsible to perform a variety of construction, maintenance and repair work involving the operation of various types of light equipment. Duties include the operation of a truck, snow plow and other equipment to maintain county roads and all other duties as assigned.
A valid SD driver's license is required as well as a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or the availability to obtain one within six months. High school diploma or GED and one year maintenance experience preferred, or any such combination of education, training and experience. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
