We are seeking a Senior Email & Marketing Automation Specialist to architect, scale, and optimize revenue generating lifecycle marketing systems across the organization. This role extends beyond campaign execution and focuses on building durable automation infrastructure, strengthening deliverability health, enhancing customer experience, and driving measurable revenue impact.

This individual operates as both a systems architect and performance strategist. They design sophisticated nurture ecosystems, ensure workflows are built according to deliverability and compliance best practices, and proactively surface insights that influence strategic decisions. The Senior Specialist partners closely with marketing, sales, analytics, and leadership to ensure automation systems directly support growth targets, expansion initiatives, and long term customer value.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect scalable email and SMS lifecycle programs that drive revenue across acquisition, onboarding, upsell, cross sell, retention, and reactivation stages.
  • Build advanced multi channel workflows that dynamically adapt based on engagement signals, behavioral triggers, lifecycle stage, and purchase activity.
  • Own deliverability health across platforms, including list hygiene, sender reputation monitoring, domain authentication, suppression management, frequency controls, and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Establish and enforce deliverability and workflow best practices to protect inbox placement and ensure long term channel stability.
  • Lead the strategic development of automated revenue streams, ensuring workflows are structured for scale, performance optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Reduce operational overhead by systematizing processes, eliminating manual intervention, improving QA standards, and building automation frameworks that minimize errors.
  • Oversee and refine segmentation architecture, lifecycle definitions, and lead scoring logic to improve qualification, conversion, and customer progression.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive A/B and multivariate testing strategies across messaging, creative, offers, timing, and workflow logic to consistently improve engagement and revenue outcomes.
  • Analyze full funnel and lifecycle performance, identify bottlenecks, drop off points, and revenue leakage, and proactively recommend optimization initiatives.
  • Translate campaign and lifecycle performance data into clear narratives that communicate impact, opportunities, and risks to leadership and cross functional teams.
  • Proactively surface insights, trends, and emerging opportunities by connecting data across campaigns, channels, and customer segments.
  • Create executive ready reporting that not only presents metrics but explains performance drivers and recommended actions.
  • Evaluate and implement tools, integrations, and enhancements that strengthen automation infrastructure and improve customer journey orchestration.
  • Document governance standards, naming conventions, and workflow architecture to ensure scalability and organizational clarity.
  • Elevate overall automation & lifecycle marketing capabilities across the department among peers through indirect leadership and mentoring


Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation with demonstrated revenue impact.
  • Advanced expertise in marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Klaviyo, or equivalent systems.
  • Deep understanding of email deliverability best practices including authentication protocols, sender reputation management, suppression strategies, list hygiene, inbox placement monitoring, and compliance regulations.
  • Proven experience designing complex, behavior driven nurture ecosystems and scalable lifecycle frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success building automated revenue programs that increase conversion rates and customer lifetime value.
  • Strong expertise in A/B testing methodologies, experimentation frameworks, and performance optimization strategies.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities with the ability to synthesize data into strategic insights and compelling performance narratives.
  • Experience integrating CRM, ecommerce, webinar, and payment platforms into cohesive automation systems.
  • Strong project management discipline with a systems oriented, scalability focused mindset.
  • Strategic thinker who proactively identifies growth opportunities and builds infrastructure that supports long term expansion.
  • Excellent cross functional communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.

Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
