Grant Built Transportation, LLC is seeking a motivated and solution-oriented Fleet Manager to join our growing team in York. We are expanding our operations team and seeking an individual who can play a key role in helping implement, organize, and optimize our Transportation Management System (TMS) as we continue scaling operations.
Grant Built Transportation is a liquid transportation company specializing in refined fuels, LPG, hot asphalt oil, liquid fertilizers, and NH3. We take pride in maintaining a positive, fast-paced, team-focused workplace built on communication, accountability, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Take a lead role in supporting the implementation, organization, and day-to-day utilization of the company’s Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Help develop efficient operational workflows and processes as the company continues to grow
- Monitor fuel inventory levels and communicate with customers to understand delivery needs
- Coordinate and dispatch trucks to ensure timely and efficient deliveries while maximizing driver productivity and customer service
- Collaborate with other Fleet Managers to develop and adjust daily delivery schedules
- Communicate with drivers throughout the day to ensure customer needs are met
- Assist drivers in resolving loading and unloading issues
- Provide timely communication to both internal and external parties regarding deliveries
- Assist senior management in identifying and pursuing new revenue-generating opportunities
Qualifications
Required
- Degree in a business-related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong computer and technology skills, including Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to think critically regarding timing, logistics, and geography
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
Preferred
- Experience in refined fuels, liquid transportation, logistics, or trucking industries
- Previous dispatching or transportation coordination experience
- Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)

Schedule
Training Period
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
After Training
- Rotating 4 days on / 4 days off schedule
- Some work-from-home flexibility may be available based on performance and experience
