Work Environment
This is an in-office public accounting position based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
You will work in a professional, team-oriented environment with direct access to experienced CPAs and opportunities to learn through actual client engagements.
Our firm works primarily with small and medium-sized businesses, individuals, nonprofit organizations, construction companies, real estate businesses, and other privately held organizations. This provides employees with exposure to a wide variety of accounting and tax situations rather than repetitive work for a single company.
The position requires increased hours during tax season and other busy periods, with a more balanced schedule during the remainder of the year.
Professional Development
We want this position to be more than simply a job.
As you develop your skills, you will have the opportunity to take on increasingly complex responsibilities, work more independently with clients, and develop expertise in tax, accounting, auditing, and financial statement services.
Employees interested in pursuing the CPA designation will be encouraged and supported in that process.
Why Join Our Firm?
If you have 1–2 years of accounting experience and are looking for a place where you can actually build your career, this position provides an opportunity to see the full range of public accounting.
You will work with different types of clients, gain exposure to both tax and accounting engagements, interact directly with experienced CPAs, and develop skills that can prepare you for a long-term career in public accounting.
We value employees who are curious, dependable, willing to learn, and committed to doing quality work for our clients.
