The Granite YMCA is currently seeking a Group Leader for our After-School Programs held at elementary schools in Manchester NH and at the YMCA of Downtown Manchester. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals interested in making an impact on our community's youth. Applicants must be able to positively interact and role model for youth in a licensed after-school program focused on building resilient kids and supplementing academics.
This is an ideal position for someone looking to further their experience in education, sports/recreation, childcare, and for anyone looking to build their leadership and planning skills.
Position Specifics:
- Hours available within Monday – Friday: 2:30-6:00p
- Shifts available at Manchester NH elementary schools and at the YMCA of Downtown Manchester
- Preferred flexibility to work across multiple sites depending upon schedule needs
- Additional hours available during school vacations and no school day programs
- Group Leader hiring rate is $15 - $18 per hour depending on experience
Qualifications:
A passion for working with youth
Must meet State of NH Child Care Licensing requirements
Criminal background check and fingerprinting will be completed upon being offered a position
