Stone Countertop Installer

Granite Works Stone Design is seeking a skilled and dependable Stone Countertop Installer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the precise installation of high-end stone countertops in both residential and commercial indoor and outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate has experience working with granite, quartz, marble, and other stone materials, takes pride in craftsmanship, and is comfortable interacting with clients on-site. Pay Range: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour (wage contingent on experience)

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Install stone countertops with precision and attention to detail on both residential and commercial job sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, templates, and project specifications to ensure accurate fit and finish
• Verify field measurements and communicate any discrepancies to the management team
• Transport, handle, and position heavy stone slabs safely using proper lifting techniques and tools
• Operate hand tools and power tools including polishers, grinders, and saws
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite, including company vehicles and equipment
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures while on-site
• Interact professionally with clients during installation and address any on-site questions or concerns
• Take direction and feedback from management and actively work to improve skills and performance
• Assist team members as needed to complete jobs efficiently and to company standards
• Represent Granite Works Stone Design’s values and commitment to quality craftsmanship on every project
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the team and company

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 2 or more years of experience in stone countertop installation or related construction work
• Familiarity with handling and installing granite, quartz, and marble materials
• The ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
• Able to lift and handle heavy materials (75 lbs. or more) and perform physically demanding tasks
• Able to crouch, bend, climb stairs/ladders, and stand for long periods
• Comfortable working in various indoor and outdoor environments
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• A valid driver’s license with minimal incidents in the last 3 years
