Duties
- Operate polishing machines and hand tools to smooth and finish stone surfaces
- Inspect stones for quality, ensuring they meet specified standards
- Use heavy equipment such as forklifts as needed for material handling and preparation
- Assist with fabrication processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation
Qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or construction environments preferred
- Warehouse experience beneficial for material handling and storage procedures
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely
- Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills in stone finishing
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
