Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Countertop Installer to oversee and perform countertop installations for residential and commercial projects. This role requires strong technical skills, leadership ability, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage installation crews on job sites
- Install granite, quartz, and other solid surface countertops
- Read and interpret shop drawings and job specifications
- Ensure precise measurements, cuts, and seam alignment
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site
- Train and mentor junior installers
Qualifications
- 3 years of countertop installation experience (granite/quartz preferred)
- Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of installation tools, techniques, and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy materials (100–200 lbs)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate job requirements and project timelines
- Spanish speaking preferred (bilingual English/Spanish is a plus)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with fabrication processes
- Experience driving company trucks/trailers
- Construction or finish carpentry background
