We are seeking a motivated Courier Driver to join our team at Granite State Shuttle Service. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages while ensuring excellent customer service. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our reputation for reliability and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to various locations.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays encountered during deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients upon delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery confirmations.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass Pre-Employment Drug Screening
- Must pass Background Check
- Mon - Fri full-time days
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
- Strong customer service skills to enhance client interactions.
- Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is preferred.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles is a plus.
