Lead Machine Operator

Granite State Plastics in Hudson NH is seeking experienced, reliable, and quality oriented Lead Operators for Monday - Friday on second shift to operate injection molding machines including inspection, assembly and properly packaging finished goods.

Evening Shift: Mon - Fri 3:00pm-11:30pm

Position Overview The Primary responsibilities for the Production Leader are to Prepare production paperwork, restock and clean production cells. Lead and train new and existing employees on processes and procedures. Operate injection molding machines including inspection, assembly, and properly packaging to cover breaks and absenteeism.

Essential Job Function

• Communicate with Shift Supervisor regarding required tasks
• Assist with production paperwork, labels and job set-up.
• Machine operation to cover breaks and special projects as assigned.
• Train other operators on use of machinery.
• Perform best practice quality checks on line and equipment.
• Set up machinery and ensure all production materials are available.
• Record all data as required.
• Identifying, reporting and alerting technicians/supervisors to quality issues
• Weighing, counting and packaging finished goods for shipping according to printed instructions on the Work Order Cover Page
• Record production and scrap information on P-charts
