What You'll Expect
The Auditor is responsible for executing audit procedures related to regulatory and financial compliance as assigned by the Director of Finance.
What You'll Do
- Assists with planning and implementing an audit schedule designed to provide sufficient auditing of all operations.
- Measures, analyzes, evaluates, and reports on the adequacy of compliance with internal controls, procedures, rules, regulations, and laws.
- Assists the Director of Finance in determining operational and control weaknesses and recommends solutions.
- Checking figures, postings and documents for accuracy and proper coding.
- Auditing daily paperwork from cage and revenue generating departments.
- Verify Casino deposits.
- Perform Accounting functions as assigned
- Completes special projects as assigned.
- Demonstrates and provides outstanding customer and employee relations at all times.
- Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.
- Performing a wide range of data entry and clerical functions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated strong listening and communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of performance.
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining business standards.
- Focus on teamwork and collaboration with others.

- Bachelor’s Degree in related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years’ related auditing work experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
