Security Agents / Unarmed

Please read before applying. Granite Security Service is looking to hire Per Diem Security Agents for on call night shift and weekend security details throughout MA. Current hiring positions are nights and weekends. Per Diem security agents assist with security operation. Please note, benefits will not be made available to per diem employees.

Currently hiring applicants with Security Experience, Military, Law Enforcement, Corrections or related fields. Seeking applicants with desire to work nights, weekends and holidays. Please keep in mind before applying for this position that nights, weekends, and holidays are typical operating schedules for Security Agencies. The contract locations are for MA but may extend to other licensed regions such as NH, and ME. Granite Security will not be accepting applications outside of these regions.

Looking to fill upcoming contracts within MA.

First 3 months are probationary period until training is complete.

After 3 months, Per diem employees are eligable for contract differential pay. Detail rates rang between $23 and $30 per hour depending on contract assignment.

Job Responsibilities for Security Position

• Protecting company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observing for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Acting lawfully and professionally
• Assist with TWIC Security/Dock Security
• Provide Unarmed Security at Contracted Facilities
• Provide coverage for short notice contracts
• Assist full time employees by adding coverage for nights, call outs, vacations, weekends and holiday contracts

Qualifications: Recommended Prior Law Enforcement, Military experience and Unarmed Security Experience.

Training Provided: General Security Training

Entry level positions with no experience may be available with contract restrictions.
