- Ability to build a positive working relationship with students, school staff, administration, parents, and the community.
- Skill in developing young athletes while building a strong, positive, and competitive team culture that includes good sportsmanship and excellence in the classroom.
- Ability to mentor, train, and educate athletes in the sport and the necessary skills and techniques related to the game.
- Ability to foster excellence and a winning culture both on and off the court or field.
- Ability to train and educate student athletes in safety and injury prevention.
- Knowledge of UHSAA requirements and regulations.
- Ability to continue a program with strong traditions and the skills necessary to work with an involved community.
- Cleared background check through Granite School District
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Requires completing multiple trainings and maintaining multiple certifications, including anti-bullying/hazing training, concussion training, and First Aid/CPR certification. Specific requirements may vary depending on the position.
