Overview:
The Cooking Assistant reports to the Director of Dining Services and is responsible for providing clients and staff with food of high nutritious quality as well as meeting individual needs.
New Freedom Academy Behavioral Health in Salem New Hampshire is looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team! Full time or Part Time
We are A commissary kitchen that provides meals for clients struggling with various stages of addiction 6 days a week. Currently we cook lunches for approximately 120 people, but we are growing!
The ideal candidate will have good cooking skills, good written and verbal communication skills.
The duties will include:
* Washing dishes, pots, and pans
* Setting up and breaking down the dining room
* Cooking and baking
* Putting away stock deliveries
* Removing trash and boxes
* Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining room
* Any other duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Manager
We are not open on Sundays or evenings!
