Job Overview

We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Granite / Quartz Countertop Fabricators and Installers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw stone materials into beautiful, high-quality countertops and expertly installing them in residential and commercial settings. Your mechanical aptitude, precision, and commitment to safety will ensure each project is completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standards. Duties

• Operate fabrication machinery such as saws, polishers, and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to cut, shape, and finish stone surfaces according to blueprint specifications.
• Measure and mark materials precisely using tape measures, calipers, and other hand tools to ensure accurate cuts and fitment.
• Handle heavy stone slabs safely using forklifts or other heavy equipment while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Follow detailed blueprints and technical drawings to execute precise dimensional measurements for countertop fabrication and installation.
• Finish stone surfaces through polishing, grinding, and sealing processes to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish.
• Install fabricated countertops securely in designated locations, ensuring proper alignment and stability while following safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by handling materials properly, operating power tools safely, and adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements such as respiratory masks, gloves, eye protection, and steel-toed boots.

Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery used in stone working.
• Mechanical knowledge related to machining, milling, welding, and materials handling.
• Experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment safely within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments including PPE use, safety regulations, and emergency procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements, cuts, and material estimations accurately.
• Skilled in following detailed blueprints or technical drawings for precise fabrication and installation tasks.
• Knowledge of stone finishing techniques such as polishing and surface sealing to enhance countertop appearance.
• Construction or manufacturing experience preferred; familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
