What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Records Specialist position at Granite Peaks Gastroenterology?
Granite Peaks Gastroenterology is looking for an organized, responsible individual to work in a busy GI practice as a full time Medical Records Specialist, Monday through Friday. This position involves electronic medical record maintenance and organization, electronic filing, scanning and attaching files into electronic health record, taking calls regarding medical records, processing medical records requests from outside entities, completing tasks for patient appointments, setting up chart reviews, signing up patients for the patient portal, and other duties as assigned. Previous medical office experience preferred.

- Knowledge of Medical Terminology with Gastroenterology preferred
- Previous Experience in Medical Record Release
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
