Forklift Operator

Job Responsibilities:

· Work efficiently with QC, Production Warehouse personnel on outbound safely loading and unloading inbound and outbound goods

· Prioritize on all daily production transit requirements, stay late and come in early as needed to keep all production departments flowing.

· Store completed projects and material in an organized so it can be transported in a timely manner with short notice

· Optimize travel throughout the facility to ensure operational efficiency

· Ensure all products being moved have adequate flange protection installed prior to transporting

· Inspect material handling equipment for damage and schedule maintenance or repairs

· Adhere to safety standards, maintaining a safe, orderly, and clean environment

· Housekeeping to ensure all storage areas are free of debris

· Maintain a positive and solutions-based attitude, even while under pressure and/or managing competing priorities and deadlines

• Display strong communication and team player skills

· Take ownership, initiative, and pride in work

• Meet or exceed goals, or diligently work to course correct when needed
• Follow procedures for reporting overages, shortages, and damages
• Willingness to be flexible with job duties. Come in early and/or stay late as workload dictates.

Requirements/Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a forklift operator

· Solid job history with no gaps in employment over the last 5 years

· Positive references from 3 previous employer

· Strong attention to detail

· Basic mathematical skills

· Knowledge of industrial equipment

· Excellent coordination and physical condition – ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
