Position Summary
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Installer will be responsible for representing Granite & Marble Works at the client/job site while delivering an exceptional customer experience and a quality work product. Success in this position is dependent upon the ability to work independently or within a team and with high attention to detail. This role offers the unique opportunity to be in different work environments to meet the needs of each project phase and the location of the installation site.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Safely transport heavy granite/marble from the shop to the company truck, and onto installation site
- All tools and installation equipment loaded and ready for deployment and use at the site
- Laying down protective barriers and prepare job sites for error-free install
- Installation of granite and marble per company written contract including kitchen countertops, sinks, backsplashes, fireplaces, tub surrounds and shower walls & floor
- Regularly perform skilled craftsman methods/techniques ensuring near the perfect installation of granite and marble from the simple to the extraordinary
- Respectfully, patiently and clearly communicate options or recommendations to end customer or site leader as needed
- A commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience, a quality work product and representing Granite & Marble Works professionally to customers and the community at large
How You'll Make An Impact
- Prior construction and skilled trades experience - required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, free from traffic violations - required
- Ability to read, write and speak English - required
- Ability to read a tape measure & execute math with fractions and decimals - required
- A working knowledge & demonstrated proficiency with basic construction tools - required
- Proven success providing an exceptional customer experience - required
- Demonstrated ability to lift, push and/or pull at least 100 pounds - required
- Commitment to operate safely and effectively at all times - required
- A history of exceptional attention to detail and commitment to "doing things right the first time" - required
- Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical - desired

Working Conditions & Physical Efforts
- Work is performed in a fabrication and/or construction environment
- Required to team lift up to 200 lbs.
- Ability to stand, crouch, reach, push-pull, and lift for a prolonged period of time
- Visual functions being those of near vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with colleagues & customers and is required for safe execution of the role
- Finger dexterity is needed to move work product and manipulate construction tools
- Exposure to physically strenuous work in wet slippery environments
