You will be challenged every day with many Key Responsibilities, including:
- Shaping and guiding the development of real estate and civil engineering projects including site developments, roadways, drainage systems, and utilities.
- Supporting the planning and execution of municipal building projects and multi-year capital improvement plans.
- Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to ensure designs meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct site assessments and surveys, analyze data, and prepare reports.
- Participate in the preparation of construction documents, cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Support the preparation of technical proposals and presentations for clients.
- Create and/or review design plans and specifications for new projects and for improvements.
- Perform other engineering tasks assigned by senior staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 1-year of experience (includes internships) in the field engineering/consulting
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification or eligibility to obtain it is preferred.
- Working knowledge of engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- This position requires driving as an essential function therefore you must meet the transportation requirements of this position.
