Job Summary

• Safely operate collection vehicles in compliance with company policies and DOT regulations.
• Provide professional and timely service to residential and commercial customers.
• Collect and load waste materials, including containers, bags, and larger items, into the truck as needed.
• Operate vehicle controls to lift, empty, and return containers to their proper locations.
• Exit the vehicle as required to manually collect or assist with additional waste items.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate route records and communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors.
• Demonstrate Granger’s Core Four values: Safety, Care, Customer Service, and Profit.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday (occasional Saturdays)

• 3:00am - 6:00am start time

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with airbrakes

• Good driving record

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Ability to work a physically demanding job

• Ability to perform physical requirements of position and pass a physical and drug screen including marijuana (pre-employment and random)
