Pay Scale: $18–$20/hour, depending on education and experience
Overview:
As a Medical Assistant, you will work alongside physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include patient intake, telephone triage, insurance authorizations, vital signs, immunizations, phlebotomy, exam room preparation, and administrative support.

- Answer phones, greet patients, and schedule appointments
- Collect and update patient demographic and insurance information
- Obtain prior authorizations for medications and procedures
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers as needed
- Record vital signs, medications, allergies, and relevant medical information
- Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies
- Communicate with patients regarding appointments and follow-up needs
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred
- Fluent Spanish-speaking skills REQUIRED
- Minimum 1 year of medical office experience preferred
- 2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequent repetitive motion involving computers and office equipment
- Work performed in a climate-controlled clinical setting
