Experienced Truck Driver

We are a growing local timber and forestry company seeking a dependable, experienced CDL driver. Your primary mission will be safely hauling raw logs from various active logging sites to local lumber yards and mills.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a heavy-duty log truck on public roads, rural routes, and uneven forest terrain.
• Transport loaded trailers from logging jobs directly to mill sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections, ensuring load stability and DOT compliance.
• Properly secure, scale, and tarp loads when necessary.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, cargo details, and delivery documentation.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly

Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to chain up tires in winter conditions and work outside in various elements.
• Strong spatial awareness and comfort navigating narrow or unpaved forest roads.
• Knowledge of route planning, load securing techniques, and safety protocols for commercial driving.
• Physical capability to handle the demands of long hours on the road and perform vehicle inspections.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients effectively.
