What You'll be Doing:

• Provide support to students who are learning in multiple languages or who are learning a new language while also mastering other subjects.
• Assist students with learning English and helping them understand and use academic vocabulary in context.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet each student's unique needs and learning style.

What We Offer:

• Pay: $45.00 per hour or per diem, whichever is lower
• Supplemental Contract

Job Details:

• Working days: 5 day per week
• Hours per day: up to 2.5 hours
• Temporary for the 2026.2027 school year

What You'll Need:

• Education: Bachelors from an accredited college or university in job-related area.
• Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Must have a Washington State Teaching Certificate. Must meet WA State Certification Criteria.
• Minimum qualifications: Relates well with students, parents and peers. Must have excellent classroom control. Willingness and ability to work in a team environment. Willingness and ability to work at district and building level in developing curriculum. An enthusiastic, creative and resourceful motivator of students. Willingness to work with students outside the classroom environment, i.e. club advisor, class advisor, etc. Present a neat, clean, professional appearance at all times. Must be goal oriented (long range and short range). ESL, ELL, or Bilingual Endorsement preferred.

Work Environment

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
