Grandview Nurseries, Inc. is a family-owned business located on an 88-acre farm in the Irwin/Herminie area. We are looking for people that have SOME experience in the agriculture/horticulture/landscaping industry to fill immediate openings. We have a FULL LINE of nursery stock and landscape material. These positions are seasonal (but permanent), as is our business. Hours vary with the season.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Landscape/Nursery Laborer at Grandview Nurseries Inc. located in Irwin, PA. The role involves tasks such as landscape maintenance, gardening, landscape design, and general landscaping duties.
Qualifications
- Landscape Maintenance and Gardening skills
- Landscape Design and Landscaping experience (beneficial but not required)
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Knowledge of plants, trees, and landscaping techniques (beneficial but not required)
- Ability to operate or learn how to operate equipment
- Weekends are highly preferred during peak season.
- Driver's License
- Previous experience in a nursery or landscaping role is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
