Job Summary
- Provides quality nursing care to neonates, including well, at-risk and high risk infant.
- Works in collaboration with Director Pediatrics, unit manager, charge nurses, staff nurses and Neonatologist in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.
- Examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals.
- Ensures proper illness and injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
- Master's degree in nursing
- Two to three years as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner/Clinician in a Level III nursery.
- Currently licensed by State of Alabama, CRNP endorsed.
- Certified by NAACOG as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner/ Clinician
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Program (NRP)
