QUALIFICATIONS:
Missouri Teacher Certification or Substitute Teacher Certification
REPORTS TO:
Building Principal
SUPERVISES:
1-65 students
JOB GOAL:
To provide exposure to and performance of high school level Broadway musicals. Most importantly, students will achieve a higher level of self-esteem and self-worth through positive stage performance by singing, dancing, and acting alone and within both large and small group settings or through backstage work with lighting, sound, props, costuming, make-up and set design and construction.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with all aspects of performances including, but not limited to the following:
Organize and conduct audition rehearsals.
Distribute and collect parent permission forms.
Organize and oversee auditions.
Recommend purchase/rental of music books, props, and lighting and sound equipment as appropriate.
Generate rehearsal and performance schedules.
Conduct all music rehearsals.
Conduct and/or supervise all choreography rehearsals.
Conduct all blocking and on stage rehearsals.
Organize parent volunteers and parent meetings.
Supervise set design and construction.
Supervise costuming and make-up.
Organize and supervise lighting and sound.
All other duties as assigned by the Building Principal.

Salary : $2,168 - $3,470
