What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant (Full-time) position at Grandview Family Medicine (Provo)?
**This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
We are seeking a full-time medical assistant to work at our family medicine clinic in Provo. Grandview Family Medicine takes care of the whole family, from newborns to adults. We are looking for a medical assistant who is friendly, professional, reliable, self-motivated and loves to take care of the patient.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination or procedures
- Take patient's history and vital signs
- Prepare exam rooms
- Document using an EHR system
- Give injections and draw blood
- Assist with in-office procedures
- Prepare and maintain supplies and instruments
- Handle triage calls, scheduling, and follow up with other physician offices
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduation from a Medical Assisting Program is preferred
- One year or more experience as a medical assistant with a physician clinic is a plus
- Experience CNAs are invited to apply
