Essential Duties and Responsibilities: As an Executive Loan Assistant, you will be responsible for processing and closing approved loan files using discretion and independent decision making, including but not limited to:
- Assist Lender(s) with Real Estate documentation, preparation, review, and follow up to ensure timely & accurate closing; this includes communicating with title companies & customers as needed
- Coordinate with Loan Operations to process, close, and fund loans in accordance with policies & procedures
- Communicate with lenders and customers to service new and existing consumer and/or other small commercial loan requests. Includes preparation of internal loan memos for smaller loan requests under $250,000
- Generate weekly reports to maintain workflow for loans coming due, delinquent loans, and other areas as needed
- Assist with daily customer needs, including account maintenance, wire assistance, and general account review to solve various tasks throughout the day
- Complete and process wire transfers for loan funding
- Complete and process draws as requested and approved by officer
- Scan documents to electronic files, to ensure files are correctly updated
- Process Regulation B notices in accordance with federal compliance standards
- Collect CIP documents; including credit reports, and others as required by Patriot Act
- Clear CIP, loan, financial, and insurance exceptions
- Ensure security interest in collateral is perfected:
- Title work
- UCC lien searches & filing
Required Skills:
• General core logistical banking background – Jack Henry Experience Preferred
• Developed understanding of Real Estate loan processes and procedures including, but not limited to, document collection, closing procedures, legal and title documentation, lien filing, etc.
• Ability to maintain high flow e-mail & verbal communications with capability to multitask among different needs, while maintaining accurate & timely delivery to solution driven tasks. Accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment is a must
• Strong customer service skills, to include ability to handle VIP customers’ daily requests as needed
• Strong ability to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications
• Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail
• Must exhibit a high level of integrity and exercise good judgement
Preferred:
• Minimum of 4-6 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Some College preferred, or equivalent experience
