About the Gig:
At Grandma’s, we’re all about legendary service, killer cocktails, and the best Lake Superior views around. As a Barback, you’re the engine that keeps our bar running like a well-oiled, lime-garnished machine. You’ll be the bartender’s right hand — keeping things clean, stocked, and ready for the rush.
Your Daily Game Plan:
Stock beer, liquor, mixers, and glassware — and keep ‘em coming
Slice fruit, prep garnishes, and keep the bar prepped for action
Haul ice like a champion
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and lookin’ sharp
Support bartenders and make sure guests get their drinks fast
Move with purpose — especially during marathon weekends (literally)
What You Bring to the Bar:
High energy and a strong work ethic
Team player mentality — no task too small, no speed too fast
Ability to hustle and stay cool in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and grow (many of our bartenders started as barbacks!)
18 years old and ready to lift, carry, and crush the behind-the-scenes game
