What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nuclear Medicine Tech - Casual position at Grande Ronde Hospital and Careers?
The Nuclear Medical Technologist uses radioactive materials for the in vivo and/or in vitro diagnosis of various conditions. The Technologist employs radioactive materials in accordance with hospital, state, and federal standards and maintains a quality control program of all equipment and activities associated with the function of the department. The Nuclear Medical Technologist is responsible to the Department Manager and Radiologist on staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate of approved program in Nuclear Medicine, or equivalent.
- Possess a current registry in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT or CNMT) training, OBMI license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Be well-groomed and demonstrate appropriate conduct.
- Listing classification is heavy.
