Housekeeper

We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at our assisted living facility. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. This position requires compassion, discretion, and a strong commitment to supporting the well-being of elderly residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean resident apartments, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas

• Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces throughout the facility

• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners

• Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lounges, dining areas, hallways, and offices

• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper

• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly

• Follow all infection control and safety procedures

• Respect residents’ privacy, dignity, and personal belongings

• Communicate effectively and courteously with residents, families, and staff

• Participate in ongoing training and staff meetings

  
  
  
  

  Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare, hospitality, or assisted living setting preferred

  • Understanding of cleaning chemicals and safe usage

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks

  • Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude toward the elderly

    Schedule:

    • Full-time (typically 35–40 hours per week)
