Cashier/Floor Worker (Cross-Trained Position)

Grand Wine & Spirits is currently hiring Cashiers, Floor Workers, and Cross-Trained Cashier/Floor Workers at both of our Groton locations.

Cashier duties:

Cashiers are responsible for providing friendly and efficient customer service at the register. Responsibilities include ringing up customers, handling cash and credit card transactions, checking IDs, answering customer questions, keeping the register area clean and organized, and helping with other tasks around the store when needed.

Floor Worker duties:

Floor Workers help keep the store stocked, clean, organized, and running smoothly throughout the day. Responsibilities include stocking shelves and coolers, putting away deliveries, breaking down boxes, helping customers find products, maintaining store cleanliness, and assisting with other general store tasks. This position requires regularly lifting and moving cases of beer, wine, and liquor.

Cross-trained employees are trained to work both the register and the sales floor. Depending on the needs of the store, you may work as a cashier during some shifts and help with stocking, deliveries, and other floor responsibilities during others. This is a great option for someone who likes variety and is willing to help wherever needed.

We are currently hiring at our Waterford store and both of our Groton locations.
