Key Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement daily life enrichment activities tailored to residents with memory care needs
• Foster a supportive and engaging environment that promotes residents' cognitive, emotional, and physical well-being
• Assess residents' interests and abilities to create personalized activity plans
• Collaborate with care staff to ensure activities align with individual care plans and safety protocols
• Monitor and document residents' participation and progress in activities
• Maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere that encourages social interaction and emotional comfort
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Prior experience working with memory care residents or in a senior care setting
• Strong understanding of dementia and other memory-related conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creativity and enthusiasm in designing engaging activities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in activity coordination or senior care preferred
