Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules using ERP systems such as PLEX, aligning with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
- Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless supply chain management and material availability.
- Monitor production progress daily, adjusting plans proactively to address bottlenecks or delays while maintaining optimal resource utilization.
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools to forecast material needs and support inventory control strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing production data, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing process improvements aligned with lean manufacturing principles.
- Oversee plant management activities related to assembly lines, process optimization, and quality control measures to uphold high standards of product excellence.
- Generate detailed reports on production performance, supply chain analytics, and operations metrics to inform decision-making at all levels.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as PLEX is highly desirable.
- Solid knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, process improvement techniques, and quality control standards.
- Mechanical knowledge or background supporting plant management and assembly operations is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret supply chain data and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred.
