What You’ll Do
- Oversee campus-wide operations during assigned shifts, ensuring quality, safety, and teamwork.
- Partner with nursing and non-nursing departments to maintain optimal staffing levels.
- Lead and mentor staff, supporting performance growth, accountability, and engagement.
- Serve as the acting administrator after hours, providing guidance and decision-making authority.
- Respond to and resolve operational issues with professionalism and sound judgment.
- Support Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
- Foster communication among residents, families, and employees — building trust and consistency.
- Collaborate with department heads on hiring, onboarding, and staff development.
- Promote compliance with all organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Management, Nursing, or related field required.
- Proven leadership experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with diplomacy and calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with CMS, state, and federal regulations preferred.
