Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met across all areas.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing and drying.
• Maintain clean and sanitized surfaces in bathrooms, food court and common areas to promote health and safety.
• Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture during deep cleaning or floor care tasks.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools with proficiency.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service.
• Manage outdoor work tasks like patio or balcony cleaning when required, ensuring all exterior spaces are tidy and well-maintained.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning or custodial roles with knowledge of janitorial procedures.
• Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to handle cleaning detergents safely while adhering to health regulations.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday.
• Physical stamina for manual handling activities such as heavy lifting and outdoor work.
• Excellent client communication skills to understand expectations and deliver outstanding service.
• Experience with laundry processes including washing and drying.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation combined with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards.
