We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC/R equipment, and other facility assets to prevent downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances, HVAC components, or mechanical systems following safety protocols and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in maintenance management systems.
- Support construction projects or upgrades by assisting with equipment setup and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests or emergency repairs to minimize operational disruptions.
- Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or installations when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with expertise in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience with appliance installation, equipment repair, and maintenance operations (MRO).
- Construction experience or familiarity with building infrastructure is a plus.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning and air handling units; certification in HVAC/R preferred.
- Ability to diagnose issues efficiently using mechanical skills and technical manuals.
- Leadership qualities to guide team members or coordinate with external contractors during projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
