Job Summary

The Grand Summit Hotel at Attitash is seeking a dependable, organized, and guest-focused professional to oversee priority customer operations that are linked to the overall business and success at our hotel in Bartlett, New Hampshire. This new and unique position will provide oversite to Front Desk and Reservations along with our Housekeeping Team,

The ideal candidate is a hands-on hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for every guest.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for oversight and hands on checking guests in and out, making reservations, scheduling, training, and supervising front desk employees, working closely with the Housekeeping Manager, Group Sales, and General Manager, while maintaining high standards of guest service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee daily front desk operations, including guest check-in and check-out.

· Schedule, train, supervise, and support front desk and housekeeping team members.

· Coordinate staff schedules and ensure appropriate shift coverage.

· Provide leadership, guidance, and feedback employees.

· Ensure guests receive friendly, professional, and efficient service.

· Handle guest questions, complaints, concerns, and special requests professionally.

· Resolve guest service issues promptly and maintain high guest satisfaction standards.

· Coordinate with housekeeping to support smooth daily operations and room reservations.

· Coordinate with Group Sales on group room blocks and group reservations.

· Communicate with the General Manager regarding front desk related operations.

· Ensure front desk employees follow hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.

· Maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming front desk environment.

· Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace.

· Provide evening and overnight front desk coverage as necessary to support hotel operations.

Qualifications

· 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.

· Previous hotel, front desk, or hospitality experience.

· Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

· Excellent organizational, scheduling, and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to train, supervise, and motivate employees.

· Ability to handle guest concerns calmly and professionally.

· Knowledge of RDP hotel management software preferred.

· Comfortable working in a hands-on hotel environment and managing multiple priorities.

· Flexible availability to work evenings and overnight shifts as necessary, including weekends and holidays.
