Position Overview
We’re hiring a full-time CDL-A Truck Driver based out of Chattanooga, TN. This role focuses on transporting steel products between facilities and customers using flatbed trailers. Drivers are home daily and play a key role in maintaining safe and efficient operations.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Secure and verify loads to ensure safe transport
- Operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and safety standards
- Assist with unloading and obtain delivery confirmations/signatures
- Provide timely updates to dispatch regarding load status
- Follow all DOT, state, and company safety regulations
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years of commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL-A license with current medical card
- Clean driving record and ability to pass drug screenings
- Flatbed experience preferred (steel hauling experience is a plus)
- Strong communication and reliability
- Willingness to start early and work a full schedule
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Detail-oriented with a safety-first mindset
Pay Structure
- Percentage-based pay per load
- Hourly pay provided for PTO and holidays
