The beautiful, state-of-the-art facility has 80 apartments (40 in the Assisted Living, and 40 Memory Care/SCALF). CNA Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents
- Assist in maintaining the resident's environment in a safe and neat manner
- Promote quality services within community standards, as well as state and federal regulations
- Receive and communicate report to management on resident status at the beginning and end of each shift and as needed
- Notify the management of any changes in resident medical condition/status
- Provide personal care to residents per their individualized plan of care
- Document all pertinent information regarding care as assigned
- Prepare residents for meals and assists to and from the dining areas
- Assist with set up and feeding of meals
- Assist residents with toilet and incontinent care
- Keep resident's rooms neat and clean
- Perform clinical procedures according to community policy
- Complete prevention and restorative care that includes but not limited to PROM, AROM, ambulation, transferring, bathing, grooming, and all other ADL care
- Maintain a working knowledge of community policy & procedure pertinent to role
- Assist in turning, positioning, and repositioning of residents
- Attend care plan meetings as assigned
- Act as resident advocate
- Communicate effectively with the residents, families, visitors, members of the health care team, and other disciplines
- Maintain education development to include attending ongoing education development to maintain compliance with state and federal Regulations and current knowledge of resident care practices
- Maintain resident confidentiality
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Education and Experience
- Certification of completing an approved Certified Nursing Assistant is required.
- Six months experience in long term care is preferred
Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements
- Successful completion of State C.N.A. Course
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
