Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Direct and train all team members. Utilize the training manual and certified trainers, track and record as required.
- Manage daily quality of service, develop and implement specific Sequence of Service for all Bars and Service Floor location. Coach daily as required.
- Implement new operational Revenue opportunities, Pop-Up Bars, New Concepts, Special Events, and Special Promotions.
- Manage Sanitation and Health Code requirements.
- Audit all bars and beverage storeroom items for quality and consistency, food cost and revenues.
- Follow up on all audit exceptions and maintain active records for progressive coaching actions as needed.
- Manage COGs and labor to expected goals as determined by the Beverage Management.
- Assist with all Beverage inventories, cycle counts and spot inspections.
- Manage labor to forecast, utilizing tools provided.
- Assist Bartenders in action on the bars to make drinks as necessary.
- Assist with Menu Drink Recipe development.
- Conduct daily Pre-Shift Meeting and introduce all critical information.
- Communicate with all support departments to insure quality is maintained.
- Monitor staff performance, product quality and production flow. Foster improvements where needed.
- Direct staff in proper job functions and proper guest interaction.
- Interact with Guests, perform Star Standards inspections.
- Coordinate Shift Manager Work Flow with Beverage Management team.
- Leadership and daily management of the entire Beverage management team and hourly staff.
- Attend and participate in all scheduled meetings.
- Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this job description.
- Must be able to listen and respond to guest inquiries in a positive and professional manner.
- Ability of complex reading, writing, math, and task completion skills is required.
- Must have the following skills: clerical, compiling, coordination, analyzing, supervising, instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must be able to maintain appropriate Alcohol Awareness card.
- Minimum 3 years’ of Beverage Management experience is required or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, climbing, balancing, and occasionally sitting during the duration of their shift.
- Must be able to constantly push/pull up to 25lbs.
- The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands as well as constant light and firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
- Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.
