Grand River Veterinary Hospital is hiring for both part time and full time positions for veterinary assistant and receptionist. We are a small animal practice and currently have twenty wonderful team members. We are looking to start training for new team members as soon as possible.
Wage is based on experience and job ambition.
Part time benefits include:
- IRA account and a percentage match from GRVH following 60 days

Our hospital hours are Monday and Friday 8 am - 5:30 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 7:30 am - 7 pm, Wednesday 8 am - 7 pm, and Saturday 8 am - 12 pm. Closed Sundays.
We are looking for people who have the drive to make each visit memorable by the service they provide. The ideal candidate has previous experience with answering phones, scheduling appointments, has familiarized themselves with commonly used computer programs, and has a desire to build long-lasting relationships with clients. We're looking for a candidate who can be part of an effective team, and we expect the successful candidate to handle all responsibilities with professionalism, accuracy, efficiency, integrity, honesty, self-respect, confidence, agility, and a thirst for knowledge.
