SALARY RANGE: $14.70- $17.36 HOURLY/DOE
SUMMARY:
Provides customer service for all money transactions in an efficient and timely manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Cage Cashier counts and verifies all currency, coins, checks, chips, tokens and miscellaneous in the cage at the beginning and end of assigned shift.
- He/she ensures Title 31 paperwork is completed for assigned shift.
- He/she prepares tills for the restaurant, bar, gift shop, Lodge, and The Bay and campground.
- The Cage Cashier counts and verifies slot machines hard and soft count drop and the blackjack drop.
- He/she documents all machine operations relating to the transactions of the cage and ensures the safety and accuracy of the assigned bank and tracks any inaccuracies that may occur.
- The Cage Cashier follows all cage related procedures and performs any other duties assigned by the Cage Supervisor and/or Shift Manager.
- Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.
Qualifications
PREREQUISITES:
Must be 21 years of age or older. Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Key license. Must have 20/20 corrected vision and not be color blind. Must be able to work various automated machines and computer programs.
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or GED.
EXPERIENCE:
No experience necessary
PHYSICAL:
Must be physically able to withstand continued standing for periods of 8 hours or more and lift up to 50 pounds.
