SALARY RANGE: $12.72 - $15.45 HOURLY/DOE
SUMMARY:
Assists casino customers in all aspects of the Gift Shop, Lodge and switchboard.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Lodge Clerk accurately makes reservations and checks guests in and out in a timely and accurate manner.
- He/she is responsible for directing incoming switchboard telephone calls to the appropriate party.
- The Lodge Clerk substitutes for the night auditor when needed and completes all paperwork and log books accurately.
- He/she assists in the gift shop by waiting on customers, arranging merchandise displays and taking monthly and annual inventory of all merchandise.
- The Lodge Clerk is responsible for any other duties as assigned by either the Lodge Director or Lodge Supervisor.
- Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.
PREREQUISITES:
Must be 18 years of age or older. Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Non-Gaming license. Must have 20/20 corrected vision and not be color blind. Must have outstanding customer service skills and telephone etiquette.
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or GED or experience in lieu of.
EXPERIENCE:
Six months experience in an area of customer service preferred. Must have at least 3 months experience working with computers preferred.
PHYSICAL:
Must be physically able to withstand continued standing and sitting for 8 hours or more and be able to lift up to 30lbs. Must be able to bend, reach and grasp and have good finger dexterity.
