The Driver/Motorcycle Porter is to deliver customer satisfaction by transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The Driver/Motorcycle Porter will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. - Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
- Must have ability to pull a trailer and back up in tight/confined areas.
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles, this includes but is not limited to motorcycles, parts & accessories.
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
- Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft systems.
- 2-3 years' experience as a driver. Excellent driving skills with a constant focus on safety.
- Customer Focus: Gives customers internal/external needs priority and responds quickly to customer concerns.
- Adaptability/Autonomy: Maintains a productive schedule, timeline, and goals.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Chauffer's license.
- Cycle Endorsement preferred.
- Excellent driving record required.
